关于举行2011年(第九届)泉州市中等职业学校
外语类专业学生技能竞赛的通知
各有关中等职业学校:
为促进我市中职学校英语类学生英语技能和实践能力的培养,提供校级间相互学习与交流的平台,检测教学效果,提高教学质量和水平,根据泉州市教育局《关于举办2011年泉州市中等职业学校学生专业技能竞赛的通知》(泉教职成〔2011〕3号)精神,决定举行2011年(第九届)泉州市中等职业学校外语类专业学生技能竞赛,现将有关事项通知如下,请相关学校做好竞赛准备。
一、竞赛时间、地点
1、竞赛时间:
2、竞赛地点:泉州市农业学校实验楼。(地址:泉州丰泽区坪山路。可乘做29、30、36、42、802路等公交车至农校站)。联系人:泉州市农业学校苏春花老师,联系电话:15359057789。
二、竞赛项目、内容与规程
(一)竞赛项目与内容:
本届竞赛项目为英语口语演讲,竞赛内容包括“主题演讲”、“情景描述”、“现场答问”三个部分。每位选手总成绩由三部分组成。
1、主题演讲:三个备选话题
①、Everyone Should Be A Volunteer
②、Good Teacher in My Eyes
③、My Understanding of True Friendship
抽签决定一个话题进行演讲(限时2~3分钟)。
2、情景描述:参赛选手现场抽取图片(试题),根据图片内容用英语进行描述。(限时1~2分钟)
3、现场答问:参赛选手现场回答评委提出的2个问题(有关商务英语内容,样题详见附件二)。(限时1分钟)

三、参赛选手资格
泉州市中等职业学校2011年在籍在校外语类专业(见附件三)学生,不分年级、性别和年龄。资格如有不实者,一经发现将取消比赛成绩。
四、报名人数
每校可报3名;承办学校可增报1名。每位选手指导教师限报1人。
五、奖项设置
1、单项奖:按参赛实际人数的10%设一等奖;20%二等奖;30%三等奖。同时设优秀奖若干名。获奖选手颁发相应奖次的获奖证书。
2、团体奖:参赛学校根据3个选手成绩总和(承办校取前3名成绩计算总分),由高到低依次排列,设第一至第三名。
3、指导老师奖:获奖选手的指导教师颁发相应奖次的指导证书。指导多位学生获得多个奖次的,只颁发最高奖次奖。
六、注意事项

七、其它事项
1、此次竞赛由泉州市农业学校承办。
2、参赛选手伙食由承办学校统一安排,费用自理。如需住宿请提前三天与农校苏春花老师,联系电话:15359057789。
3、差旅费、交通费由原单位报销。

外语类专业学生技能竞赛规程
一、内容要求
1、主题演讲:参赛者围绕备选话题自备文稿(①Everyone Should Be A Volunteer②Good Teacher in My Eyes③My Understanding of True Friendship。)(要达到300~400英语单词量)。演讲前抽签决定演讲题目;脱稿演讲。要求主题鲜明,观点独到,内容切题,健康、富于学生青春气息,积极向上,具有时代特征。(限时2~3分钟)
2、情景描述:参赛选手现场抽取图片,用英语描述图片内容。要求描述内容切题,表达方式符合英语习惯表达法、思维清晰、描述生动、语音语调正确,仪态衣着端庄大方。(限时1~2分钟)
3、现场答问:选手现场回答评委随机抽取的2个问题(一题汉译英句子;一题英译汉句子或英语问答题)。(限时1分钟)
二、竞赛纪律
1、选手必须按规定时间报到,并按时进入赛区候赛,逾时报到将被取消参赛资格。
2、选手在候赛区待赛和竞赛期间,必须按工作人员指引的位置就座或在指定侯赛室等候。选手不得交头接耳、不可携带手机等通讯工具进入候赛区,不能透露或暗示所在学校和姓名,也不能将竞赛内容泄露和转告他人。
3、选手在比赛过程中,学校领队、指导教师不得与其联系或指导,离开会场或候赛室时,要由工作人员陪同;
4、选手在每一环节比赛过程中均会得到时间提示,超时选手将被终止比赛,并根据评分标准扣分。
5、参赛选手无须临时修改演讲稿内容。评委打分以现场演讲内容为准。
三、评判标准
竞赛选手总成绩由主题演讲、情景描述和现场回答三部分成绩组成;

Part A: Questions

they ?
Business negotiation usually consists of four steps: inquiry, offer, counter-offer and acceptance.
11. What do you need to know when you make an enquiry?
The goods needed, a catalogue, a pricelist, a sample, a quotation or offer, etc.
12. What do the shipping documents consist of?
One non-negotiable copy of the B/L, commercial invoice in
duplicate, one copy of the Certificate of Quality and one copy of the insurance policy.
13.When is a transaction considered closed?
After an offer is accepted by the importer or an order is confirmed by the exporter.
14. Suppose you are a businessperson, how would you response to a buyer if he says that your price is too high? (at least 3 reasons)
I’ll tell him that we use high quality material and have very strict quality control. We also offer better after sales service.
